I took these pictures a while back of some of the highlights in the little studio my boyfriend and I created in our apartment. Clearly, I love being surrounded by lots of inspiration! Enjoy!

This limited edition print by Seb Lester, in the artist’s own words is “a celebration of the humble tit”, Seb’s favorite variety of British garden bird! Am I immature for really, really wanting this?

Drooling over handmade knit clothing and accessories from Isobel and Cleo. I must own these adorable, toasty looking tights! They remind me of a pair I have when I was a wee one!

I am so pumped for Jay McCarroll’s (the season 1 winner of Project Runway) new fabric collection, “Germania“. Here’s the description from Free Spirit,
“Somewhere in the valley of bed bugs bugging and kooky crawlers crawling lies a place called GERMANIA where facemasks and hand sanitizer are strictly prohibited. Come celebrate an infectious good time care of your hosts the nerggles, the gwarbbles and the gablobs. Who says all germs are bad? Being clean is boring. Get a little dirty with GERMANIA.”
I think the description says it all. How perfect to do a collection celebrating germs! Too funny.

Amy Ruppel’s State Animals Series is so awesome. I love the white tailed deer reppin’ Illinois (my home state!).

The ring tailed cat of Arizona!

And since Indiana doesn’t have an official state animal, here is their own state pop legend! Michale Jackson! Born is Gary Indiana. How appropriate.
